Run Subprograms on a Haas

I was wondering if there was a way to string together sub-programs on a Haas control.

I don't know much about the Haas control, which is why I am asking.

 

For example, on the Deckel I can do this:

 

N1 (Part #######; Left and Right Sides)

N2 G23 N=12345 (Call left side sub-program 12345)

N3 G23 N=56789 (Call right side sub-program 56789)

N4 M30

 

As long as the sub-programs reside in the same directory as the main program it's all good.

Is there a G code similar to that for a Haas control?

M97=local sub program

M98=sub program

P=program#

L=loop or repetition

Haas sub programs are called with a M98 P1234 L3 (L is a loop call)

M99 cancels the sub call and returns to the main program

local subs can be inside the main program just stacked up under the m30.they are called with an m97 instead of an m98 and they start with an "n" like n1000 ,n2000 etc. i like this much better because it can all be loaded in as 1 program and you dont have to worry about anyone editing a sub that you are not actually in because you are in the main. hope this makes sense.

If you go to HAAS's main web site they have a section called resources, you can down load their operators manual I have found it very helpful a couple of times.

They have been very helpful.

 

I was pretty sure there was a way to do it, I just didn't know the correct syntax.

There is a possibility I may be doing some Haas programming in the future, so I want to start preparing for that if / when it happens.
