Computation error??

Has any know how to fix this problem?

 

retarting MC does work on this one

(stops me dead in my tracks)...

scallop with a boundary

 

i selected a different bnd and it worked fine

 

replaced all my projected lines of the bnd with lines and arcs (on what i thought

was the trouble bnd), but did not help

Try adjusting cut tolerance, if you have line/arc and smoothing tolerance ON turn them OFF first and try regen.

pretty basic path ive use on identical runner channel hundreds of times

I ran into this the firat time last week. I cranked the tolerance way, Way, WAY tight. I loosed it up to .0001 and it went through ok.

Not sure why this errors in X7.

When I get this, usually if I uncheck "use boundaries as drive curves and then collapse" it goes away.

I'm find more bugs on a daily basis then even X5.

 

Maybe they should release X8, i hear it is rock solid and stable.

Steep/Shallow tab, I think maybe they updated the way the system looks at splines. I assumed it was something in the geometry I had used for my boundary and not something broken.
