Can anybody offer ideas on the best toolpaths to use for cutting the "Target" circles into the sides of a cylinder? Basically what I need to do is pocket out the center "bullseye", pocket the outer gray pocket, then remachine the sides of the pockets with a smaller radius ball mill to get closer to a "sharp" corner in the pockets.

I think this might be a good application for the morph between curves or surfaces toolpaths, as mentioned in Crazy's morph between curves threads. I'm going to work on it from that point of view but if anybody has other ideas on good toolpaths for this application I'd appreciate the input.

A couple other things. This "target" is going to be milled into a cylinder so I'm going to have to use a right angle head, and it needs to have a pretty good finish.

TIA for any help offered!
