Mastercam X7 crash

Hi Peeps,

 

Our IT guys just reconfigured our systems here.

 

Now when I open Mastercam X7 and do anything with Verisurf, Mastercam crashes.

 

I had them uninstall it, then reinstall with no success....

 

Tried a search but found a little info for X6.

 

Any help would be appreciated...

Did you uninstall mcam, or verisurf, or both?

We uninstalled Verisurf and Mastercam worked fine.

 

Reinstalled Verisurf and the problem started again.

Verisurf hosed my toolmanager in X7. I think it was the font file or something....

Did you email QC?

Will need to email [email protected] and see if someone there can assist you.

 

The full Verisurf install over writes the .config and .mtb. There should be a verisurf.config installed and used for the process. I have 2 shortcuts on my screen. I use a verisurf.config and a mcamx.config. I then have a shortcut to launch the one I want. The Verisurf full isntall does not follow this process they over write the mcamx.config. This is not the case with the free tools and Master3DGage.
