Posting A-59.999 not A-60.?

Eric braces for a verbal lashing...hehe

First off I am a registered user so please do not bite me smile.gif .

I am getting a little picky here but I am using the mpmaster post on my haas VF2 with the 4th axis. It is working well but for some reason it adds .001 deg to all of the A moves?

eg. A-60. posts as A-59.999

This is not a big problem I know but I am wondering if someone may know how to fix this?

Thank you

Eric

Well here is the code to change the postive/ negative vaule of the posted code on the A axis.

code:

rot_ccw_pos : 1 #Axis signed dir, 0 = CW positive, 1 = CCW positive

Here is what the vaules are on the A axis:

code:

 fmt A 11 cabs #C axis position

fmt A 14 cinc #C axis position

fmt A 4 indx_out #Index position

I dont have the dongle to play with your program tonight but will look at it tommorrow and see what I coem up with. I would ask do you get the same results when posting this using another program.

Another possibility is the number of decimals in the NCI file. Eric, if you go to Screen -> Configure -> NC Settings, what have you set as 'Number of decimal places for NCI'?

The angle is calculated from the tool plane matrix, and the tool plane matrix is a unitary matrix (i.e. each row or column is a vector with the length one). To get accurate output in multiaxis, the 'Number of decimal places for NCI' should be set to 6 or more.

I just changed my config. to 4 plcs. then posted one of my programs, and I also got a .999 "A" move.
