Most high-feed tool makers will give you a radius to program with. For instance that Iscar helido can be found on their website using the cms tool finder. If you click through all of the pages for cut data (I believe it is the "more info" link on the left side) it says "radius for programming". That is what you tell mastercam to use as a radius to program with.

 

Keep in mind though, it will not be a perfect match. The best way to go is to make a custom defined tool and the extra work you have to do to get it defined.

I'll have to check out that info for the Iscar cutter.

 

The hitachi cutter has 2 different radiuses and like you said its close but leaves more material in some spots...
