Installed X8, now no sim found on X7 and X8

So we have a network floating license here. A co-worker just installed X8, and now he get the message "no sim found" when he tries to run either version. But the weird thing is, if he run the nhaspX utility, it finds the license just fine. He is trying a uninstall, right now.

 

He's what we done so far with no luck.

Copied the nethasp.ini from X7 directory to X8

Made sure the Nhasp utility was set to sim type "nethasp"

Restated computer

 

Anybody have any suggestions?

Update:

 

I just talked with our sales rep and he seems to think it may be a Driver issue. So I went to MasterCam site and downloaded the drivers he suggested.

Sounds like you need the .ini file

We had system the other day that was running, then it wasn't...

 

It could see the server with nhasp.exe, I could ping the server but I kept getting a No Sim Found error, just tried to launch on my system that was running yesterday fine, today, I have this issue

 

nhasp.exe finds the server

I can ping the IP address

 

But I can't start Mastercam......

 

ini file is set for the correct IP, it is the same ini file that has been running for weeks
