okay, i figured out how to add questions

and post the results (ie f q )

in the post processors. is there also a way

to get it to post letters ? for instance.

one example is fq G92 Value, the variable is set to " g92d : 0 " before hand and if i don't input a number at the prompt, it will

just output "W31 NO Canned Shape", etc. W31

is just a text output at the console and ignored byt the machine (Bosto). but i haven't beeen able to get it to output

for instance, G60, it just outputs 60, which of course the machine doesn't know how to handle. sorry for being so long winded.

oh yea, G92D10 just defines everything after it as canned shape #10 or what we normally call

a sub-routine #10. G60 would be simialr to G54

or a machine offset position.

if you want to put in the same exact text in each nc program that you post you can just put what you want in quotes in the appropriate place in the post... if you want a G60 then put in "G60" in the post line that you want it to write.

hope this helps

Eric
