Hey guys how do you save a machine sim with the file?

 

I have to re choose the the machine sim every time I re open up the file.

Yes you do. That is not something I am ware that is assignable yet.

Are you referring to saving the type of machine in the simulation?

 

If so my set-up saves the machine type I used in the simulation with the file.

ahh...well it would be cool if that was something that was looked into.

 

it is ok if you are just working with one file all day.  But if you bounce around on several different jobs it would be cooler if the machine sim you choose(AND THE SETTINGS YOU SET UP IN THE MACHINE SIM)

would save with the file.

 

There has to be a way to do it because I have noticed that any custom machine sim that you add to the CNC Machine folder will do just that.  It is only the ones that come installed that don't stick.
