Perhaps some basic training is in order because it sounds as though you have none at all....

We try to help on the forum but we cannot replace training.....I would suggest contacting your reseller directly and setting something up to explain and teach you.

Could you make a swarf 5 axis tool path with step surface in this part for me?

Cutting strategy seems fine to me. Why don't you just save yourself the grief and run your toolpaths in Catia?

I have to using mastercam 5 axis. And I try to make a best tool path.

You can see my program below. I think the program is ok, and the question is: How can I make a better tool path and Is there any way to program faster?

I take time to create surface and resolve it.

That the only cracked version you could get?

That why you can't ask your reseller?

I am working as a part time-reseller in VietNam, and I can not ask a technical from Malaysia or Singapore go to VietNam to show me more about 5 axis. The price is expensive.

Mastercam have some issue that I can not underestand.

X6 version, swarf 5 axis have lead in and lead out each depth of cut.

x8 version, swarf 5 axis do not have lead in and lead out each depth of cut.

I try both swarf 5 axis and swarf milling and I see some difference. In that case swarf 5 axis work good, in some case swarf milling work good and I do not know why because the shape of part is similar.

I think someone in this forum have the same problem.

If you're working as a legitimate Mastercam Reseller, go straight to CNC Software.....I worked for a reseller for almost 7 years......

If you're legit, go right to the source
