Transform - Rotation +Shift

Mastercam X8  4-axis Rotary Table.

I have a grope of operations - drill,counterbore , chamfer , tapping  on the part 3" dia.

I need rotate this group around with angle between each step =  60 deg.  at the same time move each step +1"  by X-axe.

If it is possible to do this  in Mastecam using  Transform options only ?

There are other solutions to this problem?  Multiaxis Drill and Circle Mill is not suitable because I use 3D chamfering .

Thank you.

In one transform no. With 2 transforms yes. One Transform will be the move over or the index. Then the 2nd will be the move over or the index. You ghost the 1st one to not get a toolpath on the 1st transform. Then go from there. Here is an example.

Switch to incremental for the Sub Program and then use the L with M98 PXXXX L100. That will give you 100 instances of the program. Will need to make sure the X and A are in the sub and should be good to go. How I use to program 4th Axis Machines for years before I started using a CAM system.

Thanks Ron, that's what I was thinking but was wondering if it could be done completely in Mastercam.

I have done it with some heavy lifting in the post using mi and mr triggers, but if it is a one time deal may not be worth the effort. If it is something you need to do one a regular bases then it might be worth putting in the effort.

Create as many instances you need in one revolution around the cylinder and after that use  transform to translate as many times you want
