Correction, when they steal my GOOD holders and leave the ones THEY jacked up.

We had one of our guys scrap 70 aircraft parts all because he read the sketch wrong!

The worst part about it is that he got a first pc. inspection (by one of our better inspectors)

and he signed it off as being good!

 

All's he was doing on his op. was trimming a height on the lathe.

He trimmed it as an o.a.h. instead of a drop,and the part was short bt .050"!

To top it off,my company actually called the buyer to see if they would still buy them!

Talk about looking like jack a$$es!

 

Then the supervisor makes us change the sketch so it is clearer to understand.

It was all there on his sketch (blown up view)

everything was there!

 

Instead of telling his operator that he is a dummy,they make it look like it is our fault.
