Can this be done?

I was given the task of machining this part on a C-Y axis lathe. I have not tried anything like this before can it be done on this type machine?

Yes. Use a tool similar to link below and do a 3d contour subbing C for Y.

Like Mike said very easily done. If you have a B machine could title the head to machine it the same tool. I have done many bushings like that over the years. Once you get the process done you will find it is pretty straight forward.

Thank you both for your replies. I am still learning Mastercam and C-Y machining. I respect the fact that I need to figure a lot of things out on my own but I am stuck on this one. I have a solid model and I am not sure how to put geometry in the grooves to drive the tool. I tried selecting the solid but it is not taking it. I don't want this done for me, a little help to get me headed in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
