Welcome to the forum John.

 

I'm not much of an IT guy, but I'd suggest a LAN card in the Fusion control to connect to a deck PC, rather than RS232.

 

I run PCanywhere, for direct access to Mazatrol functions from the desk top, and drag-and-drop .EIA files straight into the Fusion PC across the network. It's a pretty sweet setup.

I loaded drivers for our Xircom card off the internet onto floppys and into the Fusion.

 

Still using Win95 eek.gif

 

Our early control is a blazing 486-66DX. What are they now?

 

For all Mazak's advertizing about conectivity, why wouldn't they put a LAN connection straight in??? confused.gif

This is a brand new Machine with Win 95 in it mad.gif

 

Mazak needs to get there sh_t together. we are trying to get the machine itself on out intranet so we wont need a pc at the machine. Mazak says we can do it. problem is loading Novel network stuff with just a sloppy drive
