Please give me a working example of Mastercam

to Mazatrol PC Fusion CNC 640T RS232 communication software settings.

The cable I made up 25pin 9pin(on PC side)

and 5 5

and 20

what exactly are you after? Do you want parm settings for the fusion or just checking on your cable pins

I'm not much of an IT guy, but I'd suggest a LAN card in the Fusion control to connect to a deck PC, rather than RS232.

 

I run PCanywhere, for direct access to Mazatrol functions from the desk top, and drag-and-drop .EIA files straight into the Fusion PC across the network. It's a pretty sweet setup.

got a Q for ya.

we have a nexus 410a. we put a network card in and found no Drivers for it in the infamous Win 95 OS in the machine. did you have this happen, if so how did you go about loading the drivers for it?

I loaded drivers for our Xircom card off the internet onto floppys and into the Fusion.

 

Still using Win95

 

Our early control is a blazing 486-66DX. What are they now?

 

For all Mazak's advertizing about conectivity, why wouldn't they put a LAN connection straight in???

This is a brand new Machine with Win 95 in it

 

Mazak needs to get there sh_t together. we are trying to get the machine itself on out intranet so we wont need a pc at the machine. Mazak says we can do it. problem is loading Novel network stuff with just a sloppy drive

I don't think our IT guys ever put any Novell software on ours. But it is visible on the network.

 

We just switched from Novell to Win 2000 network and it seems faster.
