  1. I would like to use in 3 different turret positions the same tool (example MDJNR) but when I renumber the second tool the message I get is "Changing this tool will update your operations" and the first tool station will be renumbered as well. Any work around this problem? Thanks for your help
  2. Thanks. Ocho could you please convert this file to an older version of mastercam X. I can not open it. It tells me to convert in the newer version in order to open it in this version.

  9. Hello Mike! thanks for your reply. i was doing as you suggested. When I backplot I see the yellow and blue lines for the four holes but the tool stays on the same hole four consecutive times and the nc file contains one location as output only. You can see this if you download the file and run it again

  14. I am new to this dual turret dual spindle 5-axis lathe and my only hope is someone on this forum may have been using this lathe. I want to cut a square but it does not turn out as a perfect square. I end up with something like a square but looks like there is some large radius on the four sides of the square I am using live tooling .5 end mill pointing towards spindle center line or x- Nakamura Tome WT 250 with Fanuc 18i-T Upper turret X,Z,C Lower turret X,Z,C,B axis G20 G40 G80 G99 G54 M91 G28U0 G00Z7. 15. Thank You All for the answers. This company is 70 km from my house. Jack you can have this job anytime, since I do not want to commute on the 401. Better Jack I would rather take your job in Paris ontario. I used to go there for about 15 years for a Canada day picnic. Nice tobacco country. Is there any industry around there? Regards, John
