Can anyone explain ,please , what is it   ********.msb directory and files  for okuma  p200  control?

 I would like to put macro (*********.msb file)  for engraving in the  msb  directory (by instruction for the macro)

A *.ssb would be better

Yeah, I would do a .SSB or a .LIB for that in the MD1 directory. The .MSB is not the right spot for that.

Yes. Every day they are used for that kind of thing. That is what they are there for.

I am using  .ssb  programs  for the different  probing cycles

 They  are limited there is only 10 places  for  g call and 10 for  M calls .

 Can you  guys  post  an example of engraving  code as  using     .ssb   file  ?

Just do a CALL OENG (Or whatever your sub name is) and you can still do whatever your pass through variables would be using G11*

unfortunately I almost don't have free "Call" parameters    places (g or M).

As others have stated, it is not advised to alter the .MSB files. Though I feel your pain, by the time you add all the Renishaw macros and other various .LIB/.SSB files to make life easier you start to run out of space. We have gone to Okuma to see if we can get more storage allocated as a US standard, but until then, IF you must you can find the .MSB files in C:\\OSP-P\MSB directory. Here are a couple rules you MUST follow:

 

1. Since MSB files reside on the C: drive, if OSP software is ever installed it will delete and overwrite your existing MSB files. KEEP A GOOD BACK-UP!!!

2. MSB sub programs must start with double OO____ unlike a regular sub program that starts with just a single O_____
