boolean operation

Is there a way to "setup" the Boolean operation page (see attached pic) before picking you solids? Mine always defaults to add and I have to pick my solids then wait for it to do it's thing then reset everything and wait for it to do it's thing again. Very frustrating.

Once you turn it off in a session it will stay off.

It would be nice if the Boolean operation worked like the modify solid feature operation, whenever I select modify solid feature the operation page opens and I can preselect what I want to do then select my solid. It would just be nice in some of the solid functions if you had the choice to select your options before selecting the solid.

Well you do have the option to pick one solid and just complete the operation. That will have one solid for the Boolean operation and then the ability to select what you want to add to it. I have done it with picking them for so many years I can't break the habit of picking one and then finishing to then pick others in the dialog. When I remember I can it works very nice, but having that method by default wouldn't hurt my feelings.

Thanks for the response. I never thought to try it like that. That will work much better than the way I've been doing it.
