Anyone can sue for anything, even if it would never hold up, and as I said it costs money to go to court even if you're right.  Not a risk I'm willing to take.

 

You know who wrote that drivel? The same dip$#!+ that puts True Position of 0 on a blueprint. Not only would that lawsuit never see the light of day, they would never even be able to calculate a "damage" which is what is the bottom line.

Asinine. You would NOT be putting your company in any more jeopardy than you would modifying your Mastercam workspace or a post processor. Besides, if you have an installation of Windows and Mastercam on your workstation, you've put your company in FAR more jeopardy by agreeing to those EULAs...

Couple years ago you just click download model on their website with Zero restrictions.   I had the solid model of the 5" universal assy.

Okay, I talked with the owner and they're going to skip the agreement.  He did agree with me that it was too broad.  Some companies actually listen to their customers!

I'm sure they just had their attorney draft that up and of course the attorney is going to go overboard to cover his butt and accrue as many billable hrs as possible. It's just what they do.
