Faceting Cuts

I am trying to cut a contour with a 1/2 inch endmill and the cad model I am chaining shows a smooth surface, but after milling I am left with a faceted cut. I have changed my cut tolerance to 0.00095 and used the smoothing segments to 0.005. I have projected new lines for chaining onto the cad model and tried a number of different things. Any help would be appreciated.

Is your code coming out as G2/G3 arcs or G01 lines?

Could be your cutting splines and not lines and arcs and your filtering is not set tight enough

Analyze the chain geometry  you are cutting 

If its a spine, try this

Make a copy on a new level

then use the command

Break Many with the options set at arcs and .001 tolerance

Break up the spline and use simplify to convert to arcs.

 

Or there is a filter DLL you can run

Thank you all for the input. The break many and set to arcs did the trick. It was a spline and not an arc.
