Rigid Tap cycle parameters

Hey guys,

 

I am trying to CAM some rigid tap cycles for my new VMCs. When i select "Peck Drill", all options including dwell are able to be changed/manipulated.

 

However when i select "rigid tap cycle" the only parameter i can edit is dwell time. I need to add pecks. Is this a setting that needs to be changed in the Machine/Control definition, or is it an Operations Default setting?

You need to edit the control definition and add text for that cycle.  You will also need to make sure pecks are hooked up in the post and output properly for your machine.

Does your machine support Peck taping? if so then you need to find the proper codes for it and have this added to your post like Husker stated.
