Start up of demo disc2017

I have been using Mill Essentials with home learning edition 2017 cd for 2 months now with no problem. When I opened it up on Sunday the main screen  opened but it just stayed busy. the curser just sat there and spun for 30 min. It never opened. I had my laptop checked out and is running good. Is there an update or anything like that or a patch? It worked one day the next it does'nt. any ideas?

Roll back the update.  I hear it gives you five days to do so.  If you're too late here's the fix:

Have to tried reinstalling the HLE or moving to 2018 HLE.
Really Matt move back to windows 7  never.;-)

Yea Jay I uninstalled it and shut it down waited 30 minutes then powered it up and reinstalled it. Same problem. Can you download 2018 ?

If you have proprietary data on an internet connected Windows 10 machine you're violating your NDA, and if you have secret or ITAR data on it you could be committing a federal crime.  The EULA plainly states that Microsoft will access your data and send it to their servers, many of which are out of country.  The switches to disable "telemetry" are only partially effective.

Hello Pat,

Is it hanging on the startup screen where it shows the Mastercam 2017 logo while the bottom left says "Running command line commands..."? Are you using an nvidea graphics card? If so, this may help: http://www.inhousesolutions.com/2017/03/running-command-line-commands/
