O/T SHOP LOAD

We are getting sloooow, really fast, and we need some work. does anyone know anything about websites like MFGQUOTE.COM, or know of any others? We dont want to have to lay people off because of some poor planning by the higher-ups. Thanks in advance for any help whatsoever.

Fist Index is another one but better be ready to cut your off your nose to spite your face. It gets crazy for jobs there. I mean like what you would quote $200 a part and that being break even for you someone is quoting $57.00 for the same part. I seen many jobs where I couldn't see someone able ot buy the material for what they told me I had to be at to get the work. I used them for about a year. I seen over 500 things to quote of that I got 10 and they where not money makers. I have not used others so can not commnet on them.

well they put me in this new position of being the head programmer and estimator. Thats great and all but we need new jobs coming in the door. I was just looking for alternative to just waiting for people to come to us.

I am a shop owner(small), I have heard its very competitive on bid sites, and believe you have to pay them ,buts its free for people shopping(BARGAIN HUNTERS!!!!!!!!)for suppliers. I would not waste my time or resources. Better to target customers and give them the bargain. Lets face it,the "good" customers have people lined up outside their door. Join in that line and do NOT give up. 75 percent of life is just showing up or something like that!
