Whats the popular toolpaths to clean up remaining areas using tiny endmills?

I'm cleaning up fine details of a mold (fan blade edges) with a .046" ballnose.  I'm not all that skilled with restmill scenarios.

Cleaning up and how much stock have you left? What kind of detail are trying to accomplish? I have done .001 step overs with .03 Ball endmills for molds to machine fine details. Opti-Rough works great if you have a good stock model to drive it. Use your step up as a cheat to surface machine it. Really going to come down the material and amount of stock left in the areas you need to use this tool as to what is going to work best. All the HST finishing toolpaths will get the job done, but to remachine or machine left over stock from bigger tools look to the OPTI-Rough and see if that gets you what you need.

Heres what I got CM.   I'm going to try opti-rough.   Though I'd give you a look and get your expert opinion on it.

Sorry CM...I didnt answer your question.  The surfaces got finish machined with .75" ballnose....the blade is big enough so that it got to basically everything but the edges.
