VERISURF MOUSE DEVICE

HI guys,

Random question here:

Does anyone know if you can change the "Probe" diameter for the Verisurf Mouse? I use it to train myself on new commands when i dont have the arm available but for some reason it wont change from .250 Radius. Thank you

Go to the device manager and you can change it in there.

On a side note because Im guessing that you have some Verisurf experience...would you happen to know what exactly the Dist/Pos. Calc is in the upper right corner of the report manager? Im trying to get True Position for a Hole and this button changes the result quite dramatically. Normally it is on X/Y/Z....However if i change it to another value..it can make or break a part. Thank you if you are able to give me any advice on this matter.

Well I did work there and was a Product Manager for the Master3DGage 5 years ago so still remember a little bit. That button has been added since I worked there. Normally when doing true position calculations if everything is defined you should need to do anything to get your desired results.
