Does anyone know if there are tolerance values that change when switching between metric and imperial?

I am making the same toolpath in both to test the differences and a metric toolpath with bigger tolerance (.01mm) has more and smaller line segments than an imperial toolpath with smaller tolerance (.00004). I found this just stepping through verify

Hmm, I changed all the tolerances in the config to match the standard values, and did notice a reduction in total moves, but there is still a significant difference in the amount of total moves. This is between a metric toolpath at .01mm tol and the same toolpath in standard at .00004in (.001mm) - The standard toolpath should have 10x more moves, but the metric toolpath is still putting out more moves.

I haven't tried changing the system tolerance because the box is grayed out.
I've emailed mcam customer service and am working on a fix.

I will post everything I've learned when I'm done, I just hope i'm done soon.

You are assuming that a tolerance value built into three or four parameters will behave in a linear fashion  ?

The system tolerance is greyed out for your protection.

All i am expecting is to get a similar amount of total moves from metric and standard toolpaths with the same tolerance values.

Yeah, I haven't tried changing systol.
