IS THERE A WAY TO IMPORT "CUSTOM" TOOLS TO LATHE TOOL LIBRARY WITHOUT HAVING TO DRAW THEM AND ADDING THEM LATER TO THE LIBRARY?I USE DIAMOND TOOLING I.E CUP WHEELS(11 V9) CUT OFF BLADES,DIAMOND ROUTER ETC...I DO NOT USE ANY OF THE TOOLS IN THE LIBRARY THAT ARE SUPPLIED.IF NOT I WILL CONTINUE DOING IT THE WAY I AM--THANKS

WELL WE CONSDIDER THIS YELLING so how about this instead.

 

This has been covered and there are soem people nice enough to sahre if you put in the swaet equaity in this community they are nice enough to give back a new resident doens't get those same perks most time but is you might because it is a great group of guy no matter what everyone say about us.

With MC it is easy to make quickly most of existing tools, but if you want to make special tools … like PDHNL from SECO-Carboloy, or you need an exact dimension of tool mostly for boring bar, you need to draw it and define like custom tool. curse.gif You can draw in Autocad or something like this and import. eek.gif

Take a look in help about color for insert and tool holder.

BUCKET HEAD forgive him, cheers.gif he is new on forum and maybe he forgot the caps lock activated like me – I use it for editing .NC most the time.

About agreement ……….. If you install software, you read the license agreement? Be serious … wink.gif . In my first post last year I ask for a postprocessor biggrin.gifbiggrin.gif
