problems with .stp files from 2019

Ive tried to save out some solids from 2019 as step and a few others.  Solidworks 2017 and Mcam 2018 will not open them for some reason.  I have tried a few other of the version options with no luck.

Any one else see this?

MC2019 saves to a higher revision level than SW and MC 2017

save them out as X_B or X_T..  (parasolid)

On the Options page on the Save As window, choose 28 in the drop down menu..

Then they will open in MC and SW 2017

If you do this a lot, go to Converters page of System Configuration

and set Save As Parasolid  to 28.

Parasolid is always the preferred file format for import/export to/from  Mastercam and SolidWorks

as both use the same parasolid kernel
