Another coolant question

My post at current when turning on coolant leaves that coolant on. Say I turn on Coolant through, even though next path does not have it on, it will stay on until end of that tools path. Then it will post a M9.

Running MPMASTER. is there any provisions to turn coolant on and off depending on what is running?

Look in your Machine Definition > General Machine Parameters > Coolant Tab.

There are two checkboxes in the upper left corner. One of them is "first Coolant OFF shuts off all coolant".

Try disabling that one. That should force it to use separate on/off codes for each coolant option.

Also, make sure you're not doing what I frequently do and miss the forest through the trees. Are you sure the next path has coolant off, and not set to ignore?

One last thing; when you make changes to your MD or CD or Misc Values, you must regenerate the paths for any settings to get overwritten. Especially the MI/MR values, Canned Text, or Coolant.
