The Mastercam 2020 Multiaxis Essentials Training Tutorial is intended for the advanced Mastercam user looking to learn Mastercam Multiaxis programming. A firm grasp on both 2D and 3D machining is required and can be attained by completing the Mill Essentials and Mill Advanced Training Tutorials. The Intro to Multiaxis Training Tutorial covers the different applications that are available by configuring the Rotary Axis Control page including: Rotary axis positioning and Axis substitution. The book also covers the Multiaxis Classic family toolpaths: Rotary, Curve, Swarf, Flow, and Msurf. A special tutorial is dedicated to teaching how to drill and circle mill holes using Multiaxis toolpaths. Specific parameters such as Cut patterns, Tool Axis Control, Limits, Collision Control, Linking and more are described in detail. The contents also describe how to verify the toolpaths using the new Machine Simulation module that combines toolpath backplot mode and material removal mode with collision detections.

The book introduces the 2D design commands through simple training exercises followed by project based parts that are using the explained commands. The 2D toolpaths used to machine the parts follows. Challenging exercises are provided after each part. It starts by introducing you to Mastercam user interface and basic geometry commands and toolpaths. It gradually progresses into more complex concepts such as geometry manipulation, levels, multiple setups and 2D High Speeds Toolpaths. You will also learn how to import a CAD part and how to analyze geometry and fix any problems. All the parts within the book are designed with machinability in mind. The Mastercam 2018 Mill Advanced Training Tutorial contains projects and accompanying practice exercises that span a wide degree of complexity. The Mastercam 2020 Mill Advanced Professional Courseware is intended for industrial training. This book covers a multitude of features that allow a trainee to create 3D wireframes and surfaces for 3D modeling and toolpaths. Each project explains how to prepare the imported geometry using levels, how to check for problems in the geometry and how to move the geometry to set the work zero. This book covers Surface Finish and Roughing toolpaths with an emphasis put on the advanced Surface High Speed toolpaths. This is an active report mill setup sheet provided by In-House Solutions. This setup sheet can be used in X5 & X6. It takes one screen shot of your part in its current view on your screen and then provides you with a list of tools and basic information related to the tools. Automatic Toolpathing (ATP) automates the process of assigning toolpaths to geometry such as doors used in cabinet making. In this tutorial you will learn how to create a 3D door geometry, create the formed tools needed and machine the door using 2D toolpaths. You will export all the toolpaths to an operation library. You will also learn how to use the Create door command and an excel file to generate the geometry for the other size doors that have the same shape. You will learn how to configure, setup the ATP and link the operations to their specific levels. In the last step, Mastercam will automatically nest the doors.
