  1. I have had a machine loose it's cmos memory. We have replaced it's battery. But some of the parameters have gone blank. The machine is a Mori lathe SL-25 with a Yasnac controll. Total shutdown without the parameters. The page is totally blank. Has anyone ever had this happen to them? I have contacted Mori and they said they will try to look them up.Been waiting & waiting & waiting If anyone has one of these lathes I sure would appreciate a listing of the parameters from #6030 to 6049. We have every other machine backed up but our files for this machine are corrupt. Any insights or help would sure be appreciated. Thanks, Jeff
  2. Hey guys, Drslayer here. Thanks for the input. Chris, I will try the fifo buffer and see if that works. beej, I havn't beenm at my desk for a while and I will check on Tue. Jeff
  3. GCODE What do you think of the ergonomics? I have a Spaceball 5000 on loan till my Space Pilot comes in and Kingloui may have a point. The Pilot does look a bit uncomfortable. What do you think??? Anybody else have one yet???
  4. Hey everyone. I'm looking to replace my old space puck and I was wanting a Spaceball 5000 till I saw the new Space pilot. It looks really cool and I want one....bad. But, I would like to know if anyone has gotten their hands on one yet. linky
  5. I got the same error here too. Maybe his computer is still sleeping
  6. Doug. find this in your post and change it to NC "($", progname, ".MIN%)" I think it is in 2 places. HTH Jeff
  7. Go Navy had it right. must 1st hit mem button. Then graph/setting button twice. go down to disable hold/run button, hit righr arrow button. then hit enter. then hit "Y" This works on my TM2. have to do it every time I fire it up. Can do it permantly, but that will viod warrenty. HTH Jeff
  8. Are you talking about the safety switch on the side of the console?
  9. J Coulston: I have read a little on the search you spoke of and will have to look into it a bit further, for now I did as you recomended. Program complete then sort by tools. This worked for me now. Storkman: That is kind of what I am doing now. However, I am not using views. I have copied the top wcs for each vice position, then after creating a tool path I go back into the parameters of each tool and select the the wcs I want. Thankyou both for your input. Jeff
  10. Hello everyone. I was wondering can I assign a WCS to a group of entities? Such that any tool I use on each different group would automatically switch to the corresponding WCS? The reason for my question if I have two Kurt double vices and I do various operations in each of the four different locations and picking geometry and keeping the different WCS assignments can get a little confusing. Any advice would sure be welcome. Thanks Jeff
  11. I run them with high pressure coolant. They last forever that way.
  12. That works great. Thankyou very much. Jeff
  13. When I analyze an entity, it tells me there are tool path refs. What is an easy to find out which tool this entity is accociated with??
  14. Jay, Just sent mine in via paypal. Thanks for all your hard work. Jeff
