I get the same thing. No specific time or task. This morning it crashed on me with the "Sorry there has been an error, Mastercam needs to close now" message. Then it shut down and my file was completely deleted that I had been working on for a week. Good thing I had a backup or that computer would have been laying out in the road.

30" monitor? I wish!!!! My boss is too cheap. Duel monitors don't work well with the newer video cards. Why did they change the functionality of these cards?

Learning by doing. Now that I am used to it I like X pretty well. Still has lots of querks but that is life I suppose. I went to MasterCAM school, beginner and advanced. Funny the guys that teach the courses don't know everything about the software. -
Yes I just found it. I don't have a clue how it got unchecked. Jeesh what a pain that can be.

I just started have this problem, I have to regenerate the toolpaths EVERY time I reopen a file. I have no idea what happened.

thanks guys! But the thing about editing the post. I just mean't it would be nice if there a little program with a GUI that would let you pick custom options for a custom post. Instead of having to figure out what all that mumbo jumbo funny looking text. It looks as bad as PHP. Yikes!

Ok I did a search and didn't find what I was lookinf for. I was wondering if there is a program to edit the post. I want to get mt maching to go to max z height bfore during and after tool changes. My post isn't putting in the tool number on the H code. I would love to be able to interpret the post code to make it do what I want.

There are a number of people who are still using 9.1 but have X. I made the mistake of taring off into X thinking I could leave 9.1 behind. Just shows a lack of reasoning on my part. I am still using 9.1 for the time being till I get used to X.

they get all the bugs worked out. I am pulling my hair out. My boss is getting pissed because the change over time and the buggyness has delayed putting out work. Let me know when the 1st patch comes out and maybe I'll give it another shot then. Remember what wasn't broke , don't fix it!

I love the auto cursor. I am used to autocad so I like it and the custom features it has.

Ok, has this question been asked yet? Is my Mastercam Art compatable /w X. If it is what do I do to enable it? If not when will it be patched to work? I did try to open the Art c-hook in X but nothing happened.

To Bad Auburn didn't get to play USC. Oklahoma was a joke. The press got what they deserved. Auburn does belong on the same field. But we will never really know since the the BCS bulls**t screwed it all up.
