I use this product on all my 40 taper tool holders.
It's a dry ptfe (teflon) mold release in a spray can. miller-stephenson MS-122AD.
been using it about 8 years. we apply it once a month. no more sticking!

David,
very well in cast aluminum even when there is sand in the casting. that's why i started using them. now i use them in every thing that's non ferrous, alum, plastic, mag, copper, zinc, carbon, makor, graphite, and silver. they last 40 to 50 times longer than regular micro grain cadbide. do the math these are way cheaper in the long run.

page 40 09/2009 cat cvd diamond endmills.
you will be an old man like me when you wear those out in aluminum. you need lots of rpm like 35k. I use them every day.

Superman,
this is how i control my okuma's U100M control.
phinca # Super Hi-NC Control Selector
if mi8$ = 1, "G131J0I0", e$
if mi8$ = 2, "G131J1I0", e$

if mi8$ = 24, "G131J2I3K1", e$
i have all the options predefined in the control
then i select the fidelity in need in the operation. at the end of the op it cancels with a G130.

Hardmill,
let us know how well it works? i need one that has 0.0001 in or 0.001mm to profile IC's up to 50mm x 50mm x 3mm. 0.005 in won't cut it for us. if you know of one with this resolution let me know.
thanks
