  2. just define the tool as having one active tooth. when u backplot it should start at the desired depth then helix out for right hand internal threads.
  3. machine spec; haas ec400 full 4th axes 12000 spindle.
  4. We do op1, op2, op3... on one tombstone. Then run the opposite hand op1, op2 op3... on the other tombstone. I have 40 tools and do tool touch probing on important $1200.00 reamers. So staging the tools so the first tool runs op1, op2 op3... then next tool op1 op2 op3. I use the mpsubrep post and modify from there I wish I knew a better way. We have solidworks, would it be any better to draw the tombstone then place the parts on it and then apply my toolpath to the converted sw file. Any help would be great thanks for the reply.
  5. I would like to know if X is going to handle tombstone work any easier. Does it have a tombstone wizard that helps guide and automate the process. I have to contantly hand modify my programs because we do multiple ops on one tombstone. It is very time consuming.
  6. I use a bfg 6800 gt oc and it works great, 512 meg of ram amd cpu. It handles anything i throw at it.
