  1. specify "no dimensional change" and hold them to it! my 2 cents

  4. I agree with the above and would like to add, start out with "Prodec Plate" it cuts alot better.
  5. CJep, Thank you for your Help. I was using transform for the first 20 parts, and then I had to translate that for 3 other fixtures using seperate work offsets, so i did use 2 transform operations. Thank you again and thanks to the forum!

  7. Can any body explain how to Transform a Transform using multiple work offsets? using X4 I have a fixture that builds 20 parts at a time, and I want to duplicate that on 3 other fixtures. Thank you!

  9. I guess I could be a little more specific, I'm looking for a solidworks solid model with 4 t-slots that measure .71x 1.34 dp and 1.25 wide x .54 tall. I was hoping to get a link to a library of models. Thanks for responding!

  12. A lay pattern is used for sealing 2 parts creating and air,gas or liquid tight fit usually requiring a 16 or better finish. With the lines going along the path as opposed to across. No it is a flat surface
  13. We are attempting to build a lay pattern on 99.9% pure copper. the pattern width is 1/4, the rectangle is 4.0 x 42.5. I wanted to know if anyone has done this on a mill, and if so what did you use. Thank you.

  15. When I establish a few op's I will set all x,y's and z's to whatever they need to be in verify, then back plot just the manual op and save that as an stl. next time "use file" I just created and never have had a problem during verify!
