  1. good to see im not the only one but yeah its really annoying when the website is not working properly especially if i write a relatively big text and when i send it i get an error.
  2. sorry for the late reply I have experimented a bit more and im sure its definitely a bug. The new mastercam file has an extra step in the solid. I have changed the stock to leave from 0.2/0.5 to 0.2 and 0.21mm if you activate the first toolpath and look at the red lines from top view, the toopath is basically right on the money on the lower pocket (the right side of the toolpath will leave 0.012mm less stock) but will still leave extra material on the higher step, also it will cut on the outer edges, which is unwanted. The step up cut will actually cut whats left from the first cut. If you activate the second toolpath, the toolpath will leave *exactly* 0.2mm stock on all walls. If i change the stock to leave to lets say 0.5mm on walls and 0.2 on floors then there is no problem. basically the toolpath will leave extra undefined stock on walls on the first cut and on the step up cuts it will remove the extra stock. 2d dynamic doesnt have this problem. for those who cant open educational files i have uploaded screenshots Tadsdwadsadwadswa.emcam
  3. Hello, has someone tried for example stock to leave walls 0.2mm and stock to leave bottom 0.3mm and also experienced extra stock left on walls? why does it leave extra material on walls if i tell it to leave more on bottom? (fyi it leaves the wanted stock to leave on bottom). I am assuming its a bug, or i have done something wrong but doesnt make sense because step up cuts remove the extra material. i have uploaded a educational mastercam program which contains two toolpaths, both have 0.2mm stock to leave on walls but one has 0.2 and the other has 0.5mm on floor btw sorry for my bad english Tadsdwadsadwadswa.emcam
  4. Yes but when the face is not in the middle of the solid then so is the plane.
  5. Hello, would it be possible to write a script that does the following: 1: let me select a solid 2: a window pops up like when i create a plane from solid faces where i can choose from 8 different orientations (optionally select a line for the X direction if the part is at an angle, no i wont move the solid) 3: enter a name for the new plane 4: when i chose an orientation, the plane gets moved to the highest point of the solid in the Z+ direction of the chosen plane and right in the middle of the solid
