Well it doesnt seem that easy to me but ill have to try poking away at the post...but actually I am trying to output the comment from the WCS not the plane name.
The only problem is I'm the only programmer who wants to do this so I thought there was a check box similar to comments in th eop manager ETC
THANKS FOR THE LINK
I'll try it sometime
I am using mpmaster and I cant seem to figure out how to output (to the nc file) the comments in the view manager comment box.
I tried messing with the control def check boxes for group comments ETC......no luck
Anybody ??????
Stan
I checked the "support coolant using coolant value in post YA DA YA DA .....
That turned off all the coolant boxes in my operations.I an using a converted 9 post ,but I have the same problem with a generic post too.
(DATE=DD-MM-YY - 10-08-06 TIME=HH:MM - 08:06)
What do edit in my poat to output the time and date only ,
not "DATE=DD-MM-YY and TIME=HH:MM"
Thanks
Stan
what gives ?I have coolant set to on in my operations but no M8 or M9 in the code.I didnt see any setting in my control def.
The only way to turn it on is through edit common parameters that works, but when you do that all the options go away(before.after ETC)
any ideas of what I'm doing wrong.I tried different post but it still didnt work.

stork dude:
I only want the clearance plane to retract at an index only ,and only after not before the operation.
I have multiple operations with the same tool on the same index and only want the retract after all of the operations are complete. It seems when you check the retract box on the clearance plane it puts that value at the beginning and end of the operation.
Thanks Tim
I'll give your suggestion a try!

Anyone having problems changing the tool length and CDC offsets when you add a value to "add to tool " in the control definition of the local copy.I put a 100 in there and it doesnt add to the tool length and CDC diameter.I tried using a generic machine def and it still didnt work.I am either doing something wrong or I'm a crack smoker LOL
Any body have any ideas of what I'm doing wrong?
I am using MR2 with solids level 3
