  11. stork dude: I only want the clearance plane to retract at an index only ,and only after not before the operation. I have multiple operations with the same tool on the same index and only want the retract after all of the operations are complete. It seems when you check the retract box on the clearance plane it puts that value at the beginning and end of the operation. Thanks Tim I'll give your suggestion a try! Stan
  12. you lost me Tim ...what buttons would cancel the x and y moves ...."Just uncheck the check boxes"....?
  13. Anyone having problems changing the tool length and CDC offsets when you add a value to "add to tool " in the control definition of the local copy.I put a 100 in there and it doesnt add to the tool length and CDC diameter.I tried using a generic machine def and it still didnt work.I am either doing something wrong or I'm a crack smoker LOL Any body have any ideas of what I'm doing wrong? I am using MR2 with solids level 3
  14. How do you "cancel out "the x and y?
  15. How do you program a clearance move for indexing on a horizontal machining center. Is it misc integer?...If so how do you make that work?
  16. I cant check the box in view manager it just doent let me.Its not even grayed out .????????
  17. installed MR2 you guys were right a couple of icons in the op manager really helps the whole situation ...kinda similar to the ALT-T but 1 million x's better this new option freakin rocks
  18. thanks for the input guys . I have not downloaded MR2 yet.Well its not exactly what i was lookin for but, it looks like there on the right track....Maybe M-CAM can enhace this feature
  19. Does anyone have a way to locate geometry or solids or level from the operation manager.Lets say you create a program with 100 or so ops, 1 week or a month goes by and you need to make a change to the program or maybe someone else wroth the program. You open up the op manager and you need to find out what level the geometry is on for a particular operation in order to make the change. How does everyone search for that or figure that out.It can get pretty complicated when you start naming levels ETC.I think that mastercam could /should easily add something like that to the paramaters page, so if you double clicked on it it would let ya know what level and or maybe highlight the geometry.Any thoughts from use guys on the forum.
  20. SUCCESS!!!!!!! thanks for the help Paul
