  1. I usually have the option to use the stl "as is", but not this time and other random times. quote: BTW, Do you make cranks for Subaru 2.5L boxer engines? We can make just about anything. All of our crankshafts are built-to-order and custom. Our main product lines are Chevy Small Block, Chevy Big Block, LS1, Ford, Mopar, Hemi. We also do prototype projects for the likes of Cummins, FEV, GM, Chrysler, etc. If you have any questions, just give our sales staff a call.
  2. It appears that this is an on-going issue with MC that is not getting addressed by CNC Software, Inc. I see some forum posts dating back to April of 2003 and so far I have read nothing that fixes the issue. Hmmmm, a problem that has been going on for 4 1/2 years with no fix. Pretty good for a $23,000.00 software program. BTW, I have the same problem frequently now and it's nothing but a pain in my arse. All the time wasted trying to fix the problem. 3. I have two Daewoo lathes. One is a Puma 350 and the other is some old thing. Not sure of the model # because the machine has been repainted. I also have two Mori Seiki SV500 mills, a brand new Mori NV5000aB1/50 mill, a Mori Seiki SL250 lathe with live tooling and a C-axis, a Mazak Ultra 650 HMC, a GFM FKP-20/2 pin mill, and an Okuma LU-35 4 axis lathe with an OSP5020L control, a Naxos CNC CBN Orbital Pin Chasing grinder, two 6 axis CNC oil hole drilling machines (custom built). I have found the Daewoo lathes to be very reliable. They are a lot like the Mori Seiki SL250 as far as the appearance and functionality. The colors are even very similar.
  4. Yes, it was down at 7:30am EST. Must be updating their site.
  5. My MC distributor gave me a "pre-release" of "X" and it is awesome. They really made a lot of improvements. Also, my distributor gave me MC9.1 as well. He said they are giving both so if you are a long time user, you can fall back on the older version if you run into transition issues with "X".
