I am using X5 and X6. Does anyone know the 5 Axis Surface Swarfing reconizes the tapered tool (conical 10 degree taper ball).
I did try it but it does seem right at all. It looks gouging my part badly.
Does any one how to re-register work offsets and tool offsets in the NC file like G10 in Fanuc for DMG Machine with Siemens 810D control?
Thank you so much.
This is an Okuma MU table-table machine. My X2 is level 3 with all 5 axis options. I have 1.5 experience with 5 axis. This part is a aluminum cast with .020 stock. This has a main plate and splitter very steep angle. Please show me how to upload the bmp on this forum to share with you. Thank you so much for helping.
Hello!
X2-MR2, how could anyone do slant milling(not conventional planes). Only thing I can see now is Lathe - Face contour or Cross contour, what about pocket or surfaces machining? How MasterCam keep tracking with the coordination shift if I decide change my Toolplane to the odd angle?
I'm starting programming 5 Axis Table on Table. There is confusion between Inverse Time Feed and RTCP. Please tell me which way is the better way to post out. Different people are giving me different inputs. It supposes that my post is capable of both ways of posting. What is pros and cons of each method?
Thank you so much.
Hello, Gentlemen!
I am using X2Mr2.I did create a Macro and it went fine but when I tried to replay it, it gave me all kinds of weird things on the screen and it didn't appear the same way that I recorded.
You guys know what happen?
Dear, Gentlemen!
I'm using X2 SP1 MR1. I'm trying programming the Turbine Propeller and using Advance MultiAxis - Morph between 2 curves for roughing. The toolpaths didn't seem very clean. Please tell me what kind of toolpaths that I should use for roughing this Turbine Propeller. My part is about 5.00 dia.
I very much appreciate your help.
