So I installed MR2 and it works well but when ever I try to make a setup sheet nothing happens. Have anyone else seen this? Am I missing something. I am using a set file and posting works fine.

I had the 0 byte thing happen to often to. Only in X and only on files imported from 9. I have the save bitmap off

"It said the goal was 3 MR's this year and X2 out by the end of the year." How can they get that to 3MR's a year?

So we will only get 1-2 MR a year and not 3-4 as promissed? I would really like any one from CNC software to coment on this.

When will MR2 be released?

MR 2 will not arrive untill September? And on top of that ETA would have to be adjusted for the usual delay so in all reality that would mean that we wouldn't see MR2 until the end of the year. Can someone from CNC please tell me that this is not correct.

I been having similar problems once in awhile when copying toolpath between groups. Have not been able to pin down exactly when or why/

I changed the settings to what Pete said and I just lost another file in a crash.

Well my system is above minimum spec and I have the same problem. Sometimes when I do file save it crashes. Have not been able to pinpoint exactly when it is doing it and frankly it is not my job to QA for Mastercam. Really frustrating to have a 30mb file replaced with a 0mb file and a days worth of work lost. I have currently switched to the save as method. The other guys in the shop have switched to V9. If next MR doesn't do some serious good we will look into different software.

We are using DHCP. Whats confusing me is that I can copy files just as fast over the network. It is just saving from withing Mastercam that is slow.

I use a hotkey (alt+C) for center that I have to hit before every arc I pick, slower then in v9 but it works.
