  2. Dear All One of our customer still uses Version5. He had some problems with the HASP and we got the replacement from CNC. The Activator/M Green lock is updated successfully. But while starting Mastercam it displays a warning "Ativator/M SIM not found" and does not open Mastercam. CNC Technical support sent a solution to add in autoexec.bat set ssi_act=125,125,125 150,150,150 or 200,200,200. It still did not work. We tried on both Windows95 and NT Operating Systems. CAN ANY BODY HELP???????? Regards Sudhakar

  5. Hello Users Did you guys out there noticed that Mastercam Mill Version 8.1 NCUtils - Post Proc - does not contain Reverse option. The Help of Mastercam Mill Version 8.1 displays in How To? the following way Creating an NCI file from an NC file(Reverse Post Processing) If you have an NC program, you can create an NCI file from it. NCI operations can be imported into MC8 files and can be backplotted. 1. Choose Main Menu, NC utils, Post proc, Reverse. The Specify File Name to Read dialog box opens. 2. Select an NC file to reverse-process and choose OK. The Specify File Name to Write dialog box opens. 3. Select or enter an NCI file name to write and choose OK. Note: The active post processor must be a reverse post processor, which will usually have a name beginning with “R”. Also Mastercam Version 8.1 Post Processor Installation also does not provide any Rpposts. Hope somebody noted the above problem earlier. Sudhakar Onward Technologies Limited India

  7. Thank you Mr. Allan and James. I do know that we cannot add compensation to the drill tool but I need that for the format of the Anilam crusader at my customer's place. Will try to the option offno = t+1000 Thank you once again Sudhakar
  8. Hello Mastercam Users/Veterans Please advice me how to customize the visibility of Tool Diameter offset text box in the Drill Operation. I am using a Drill Tool and the value of the offset is being taken from the tool number. If suppose I am using a Tool Number 5 i wanted to add 1005 in the diameter offset rather than 5 which is defaulty accepted by Mastercam. I need this for Customizing my output for Anilam Post Processor. Thanking you in advance Sudhakar India
  9. Hi Mastercam Techies and Users I just registered to join the forum I am with Onward Technologies Limited, we support CNC INC. in Mastercam business and support in INDIA. I am a mastercam user from version5 and I am very glad to see mastercam taking changes and becoming more userfriendly and reducing the effort of the CNC programmer to make complex profile programs. I am new to the multi-axis machining capabilities of Mastercam i.e. 4-axis and 5-axis machining. I would like to know the capabilities of Mastercam in 5-axis program generation. I had gone through the posts supplied with Mastercam Version 8 and Version 7 where it is mentioned that the post processor does not support the 5-axis capabilities. I would be very glad if somebody can give me information regarding the 5-axis post processors and whether any default post processor come along with the software. I am very happy to join the Mastercam forum. Thanking you Sudhakar
