I use the Haas post and it uses G2's and G3's. If you have your mastercam disc you could try that post. There may be a switch in the pst. you might need to turn on. I'm not at work now, sorry I can't help much.

I haven't ever used MPmaster as a post. Do you have the filter option turned on???

Just wanted to add one thing...... Cutting one way instead of a zig zag path will give you a better finish on your part.

Glad I could help

start at .010 and work your way down
-
under gap click on distance lower your number until your tool stays down in cut.

+1 with the splines and covert to arcs. Sounds like an engraving job I've had in the past. Converting to splines also helped the speed of the tool path processing time.

Thanks Richard thats a new one for me. I'll have to try it out soon.

+1 to NCI paths make sure they are all the same B4 you post
-
set your cut depths option

Set mine up yesterday, the resize picture option did't seem to work yesterday, but works today. Hopefully this will be a good site unlike hpphoto.

Testing Photo Bucket.com for pictures since hpphoto quit working.
picture way to big changed to a link. Have to try and resize picture.
-
"optimize cut order" that sounds better.
-
If you have a cutter boundary around each cavity, then pick optimize tool path it should finish 1 cavity at a time. You may also have to change the gap setting also to keep the tool down in the cut.

+1 on the diamond coated
I just finished a trode and burn a few days ago. I went down to a .012 dia cutter.
The picture is on the FTP site if you want to see a picture called (1088 Blue Sky Insert.jpg)
I tried the hpphoto.com site but they removed the option.

Don't ever remember getting your error but here are a few things to try.
screen/next menu/comb views. It puts all your arcs in the same view.
delete duplicate entities
Analyze Chain function to help find the problem areas in your chain.
For overlapping enities there is a c-hook called findovlp.dll

Auracad is long gone here........Mastercam is here to stay. Auracad was a step up from programming by hand many many moons ago. I found some old paperwork filed away for several years. My boss and I just shook or heads and smiled.
