Here is a web site I have used some for cutting.
I have a chart in my tool box from Robb Jack I got from a dealer a while back.
Very nice web site full of a lot of usefull info.
I use a Haas VF3 with a 10.000 rpm spindel a 15,000 would be nicer to have.

IGES Converter.zip - (05/28/04) - 115 KB - Updated IGES converter for SP2 only (not needed for MR0304 users). Unzip and place the IGESIN.dll in the Apps directory of Mastercam.

Do you have the latest iges update?

I would agree that documentation is the key. Also everyone from the top down have to talk and work out a system or it won't work very well.
-
So far yes, but I have to get back to work.
You could add .050 to your cutter dia if you want to leave stock on the sides only as a quick fix, since you are roughing.

Thad,
Looked at your file you have leave .025 stock on your drive surfaces. If you change to 0 stock it cuts to depth.

Note the P1. the G83 line above. I have a Hass also and had to work on the pst file to get it to dwell if I remember right. I'll try and help as soon as I can but I'm kind of busy right now.

I have not received any of the spam that has been supposedly linked to this board before, and people are still able to email me through the board for legit reasons.

I remember finding a twelve pack hidden along a gravel road when I was in Jr High. A friend of mine and I used to ride our 10 speeds around all the time. Needless to say we took care of the beer. It was olympia beer.
