if i set all tools off table then how do i set z 0.0 to the work piece so i don't have to always keep touching off tools to work pieces and pressing tool length measure. i know i saw a thread about this recently but no luck finding it

is there a way to change the font colour in only some of the ops not all?

i seem to have lost or forgotten what chook change the font style and colour backgroung in the operations manager any help? also is there a chook for changing the text colour in the opewration manager to show what has been done, or is it the same chook im looking for.

under the operation manager go to files then tool settings and make sure you have assign tool number sequential turnded off. this should help you

you need X3 and solidworks installed on the same computer i believe.

quick verify does this.check the box

floating tap head combined with spiral flute tap(something of quality like dormer or emuge) and lots of coolant. I tap holes all the time with no problem. as check that you don't have your depth messed up. Also because it is mild steel it is gummy, so i recomend drilling it a little on the big side if you don't need 75% thread engagement. Good luck let me know how it works out.

i am using x3 and cannot open solidworks 2009 files? i get an error saying "cannot find parasolid file in solidworks file". Do I need to wait for a service pack or what? How do I open these files? Thanks in advance.

once you have made the changes you want click on the icon "save as" and name it as yourname, it should save in the config folder then you can use that as your config file to use all the time.

after you save the config file go to config settings and in the start up setting select the new file you've created

not sure but try to unchaeck all entities, no harm can come of it. also once it is changed you have to save it to a config file you can customize it for your use.look at the way i have it

in config settings check the screen section there is a setting "middle button/wheel use" spin or pan

in system config turn off shadding active then save to config file

probably easier to email it direct than post on forum, IMO. Sometimes i have problems uploading to forum.

here in Toronto Canada we're not slow ,were dead. nothing for my 3 mills in the last week or so. The owner says it doesn't look promising. We are a tool and die shop so that explanes alot. I've kept myself busy making so odds and ends for a few friends that make costom trikes but not enough to stay busy for 8 hours. Hope we get something soon.
