  1. Depends on the post,Some of the older Okuma posts did it automaticly.It used to be a switch inside the post.
  2. If you are using the Lathe canned Finish, look on the second tab and there is a "approach point" Check the box and return to the screen and select an point to rapid to.Post should pick it up.

I was woundering if you apply a surface rough pocket toolpath and use solids selection and select all solids(the whole model even parts you do not intend to machine)will it increase computation time for the tool path,or will it just look at the features that are in the containment boundary?   8. Is there a way to show if the cutter is in G01,G00 etc. with the XYZ coordinates? I can see the coordinates at the lower left bottom of the sreen, but not the motion type. Thank you

I was woundering when machining an electrode using surface toolpaths,if you input a negative number in stock to leave, will this account for an accurate and uniform distance over all the selected surface?(over burn) Does it offset the surface evenly or do you need to do this your self by using the offset surface command? Thanks
  13. Yes, I am going into G98, but it juts sits there. The control is so old we had to hard wire a jummper back in the late 70's to get it to work and I have lost my notes on this and was woundering if anybody here could help me out. Thanks

  15. A tool also shifts at the bottom by specifying addresses I an J. G98G76X1.Y1.Z-1.R.1I-.01J-.01F15. I and J are Modal I=X J=Y

I am having a problem with an old CNC lathe with a Fanuc 6TB control.The problem is when I open the collet for the bar feeder, the control halts and will not execute the program any further.(the cycle will not execute with the chuck open) Is there an interlock via through the parameters, or is hard wiriing a by pass the only way?   22. If you change your toolbar state,close the software, re-launch the software, will the toolbar be where you las left them? Can I take a config .mtb file from a fresh install and replace it with another .mtb file. Should it over write the old one?
