I would like to see additional help for plunge also. I have been using plunge to cut profiles using an nci and one large flat surface but have trouble creating the desired g-code using plunge repetitive parameters.
This company has 3 seats of mill level 3 and one seat of solids. Does anyone know if there is a way for a user to release the solid license without ending the entire session of Mastercam?
Thanks for the input.
Regards,
Charles.
I use the coons wire toolpath often. It seem to be My best soluting for cutting large profile broaches. Using a lollipop cutter, the toolpath follows well along undercuts.
I have yet to switch to X4, currently use X3, has anyone used the new toolpath refinement to decrease the length of NC code being output? If so, does the path quality decrease dramatically?
Regards.
