  1. Sorry, JD the email is T00C00L4M3=T(zero zero)C(zero zero) not letter O. I want the code output like #2post, you know how some older machine the memory is quite limited so by output short code and work the same way instead point by point.
  2. Can you send me an example of what are you talking about? to email above.
  3. Anyone, can you help me to figure it out?
  4. Continue previous post: and the code output the same way.
  5. BTW, how to do 4axis contour like a pocket in the middle. quote:
  6. YES, Jparis like that. MayDay, can you show me what you are talking about.
  7. Let said I want to use 4axis milling to turn the round stock with a endmill/ball endmill. The last time I tried the code output with small segment Z and A like: G0A0 G1Z1. X-.2 Z1.A.998 Z1.A1.44 Z1.A1.66 ..... X-.22 Z1.A.998 Z1.A1.44 Z1.A1.66 ..... and what I want is G0A0 G1Z1. X-.2 A360. X-.22 A360. ..........etc Anyone have an example/show me how to do this. Mastercam X2/MasterCAM V9
  8. Anyone has good link or good video like share? I'm still pretty much new to 5-axis.
  9. STL file as stock is where I get lost. How do I import it to toolpath? should I import from job setup page.
  10. I getting lazy, and I look for easy way out. I have a part is casting about .1 oversize all the way around and I want to tell Mastercam to rough out all that stock without cut air. How do I do that?
  11. I think I know what you are talking about but the cycle time will take too long compare to turning use custom fixture.
  12. I know what is wrong, C-axis alone won't work I need 5-axis mill/turn machine for that, thanks for your time Reece.
