Hello, There are several ways to do this, one is to drill a series of holes down the center of the slot. Figure drill dia. just small enough to fit in to slot. Perhaps .010 smaller per side. This will take out most of the material. Good luck, Hawkman

Does any one know where to change the editor type in mastercam X ?. The help menu says to go to file then open ,but there are no editors listed. Thanks, Hawkman

anybody know how to place a diameter of nominal size, tangent to two tapered lines ? ex; a 60 degree included angle with 1 inch dia. inside tangent to lines on the taper. Yes you can draw the dia. first and construct the lines tangent, but do it in reverse!

We have a fanuc 16M and are trying to receive the file from the control to mastercam X. Every thing is ok but we have double spacing in the nc file.Is there a way the delete this problem? Thanks, Hawkman

Does anyone know how to turn on cutter-comp to cut keyways?. Lets say you have a 1 inch keyway and a .750 EM. Does'nt the cutter have to travel at lease half the dia. distance in X and Y direction? How do you do this when their is no room.
