  1. I don't know anyone who likes the ATI anymore. Nvidia is pretty much the standard these days.
  2. Mastercam Tattoos, T-Shirts, Eating, Breathing, Sleeping and Crapping CAD/CAM. LOL, how many of you take your Lap Tops to the Mall while your significant other goes shopping for clothes while you sit in your truck with the inverter CAD/CAM'ing for 4 to 6 Hours??? LOL, I do this a lot. I have even insisted on bringing the Lap Top to Holiday Parties to keep from being bored. Got to love CAD/CAM!!!!!!
  3. MastercamGuru Some of us are willing to eat, sleep, and breathe this stuff to get to where we are. [big Grin] _________________________________________________ LOL You know as well as I do that this largely depends on the area you live in and the Demand for Dedicated Employees that actually know what they are doing. This is a very informative and constructive thread guys.
  4. BTW: Looks like you guys really need a New Benchmark Part. So which one of you is going to make it???
  5. I have never had any trouble with New Egg, Tiger, or Dell. Some times sh!t just happens.
  6. It looks like you guys are going to need a new Bench Test soon. BogusMill, I like your PC but is the Core 2 Quad Extreme better than a Xeon Processor??
  7. Are you referring to Stitching Surfaces together to create a water tight Solid?
  8. You guys should be breaking into the 2.5 minute mark by now. The Home Built Desk Top PC's are winning and if memory serves Jay has the best time with a Lap Top. Is anyone running an XI or Pollywell Lap Top?? http://xicomputer.com/ http://www.polywell.com/us/index.asp I am wondering about Lap Top Configurations.
  9. My Precision M4400 recognizes 3.48GB of the total 4GB in RAM. Maybe your Graphics Card is taking a specific amount of your RAM?
  10. LOL I didn't get it here but on another board where someone asked a question. I accused them of pulling my leg. Well, the joke was on me because it was a legitimate question. This was quite funny though. At least this time it wasn't me.
  11. Very cool. Can I get one for the living room?? I would like watching that more than the idiot box, LOL.
  12. I see a lot of Dell Lap Tops getting very good times. I am also thinking that the recent purchase I made should have been the M6400 and not the M4400 Oh well, I can't run the Bench Test anyway
  13. A few days ago someone sent me an email asking for my opinion about a different solid modeling software and didn't give a return email address. My reply, I like it!!! BTW: What's with the YOUR AD HERE! Column???? I wonder if I should place an add Have a good day gents.
  14. quote: BogusMill Sounds like the first time is toolpath generation and the second is toolpath re-generation. Maybe he is using a Mastercam secret weapon, maybe X4??
  15. I keep my Precision Offline and use the Inspiron to go online. It isn't worth risking a Virus, Trojan, or worms. It boots in 15 seconds flat and runs great. Though I had to update my Alibre V11.1 to V11.2 manually it is still worth keeping it clean. LOL if I had a dollar every time Quicktime, WindowsMedia Player, and all those other junk ware updates popped up during an assembly there would be more money in the bank to buy MC Until then I have to use BobScrap/Crap
