  1. I tried to replicate this as well and so far haven't been able to. Any particular entities you generally always have in your part files? Any specific toolpaths used? Thanks.
  2. Thanks, i've logged the bug regarding toolbar states. The bug number is 38274.
  3. James, Yes we understand its an issue, but currently it will still be a future enhancement. If fast forward will work, then that's another option.
  4. Jeff, I am sorry for your inconvenience. I have notified someone more informed on this subject than I, and he will be posting on the topic later. Thanks for posting.
  5. I'm having trouble replicating this, does anyone have some ideas or steps to make it happen every or most of the time? Thank you.
  6. Hello, could you please send me a file at [email protected] that you have had this occurrence with. And then give me some steps i might be able to reproduce on my end. Thank you.
  7. I enjoy this forum as well. I'm one of a few Art development employees who check this forum often. Do you have much interest in using something like art?
  8. I have heard good things about Vista running with X2 MR2 with all updates installed. http://www.emastercam.com/ubb/ultimatebb.p...ic;f=1;t=028765 DaveR says it runs as good as it does with Xp. I'd say if you can, upgrade.
  9. Pete will be out of the office until tomorrow. Maybe someone else from the forum has some ideas. I still just suggest trying to export it as a different file type that we also support. If you still have a problem then there may be a problem with MD 2008. Hope that can help.
  10. Kelly, In Mechanical Desktop 2008 can you save the file as a 2007 file? I have a feeling part of the problem may be its just such a new format. Can you save it as anything else we support? I'll forward this to Pete. Goodluck.
  11. The picture you included doesn't show up. I'm pretty confident websites don't normally end in .jpg ;-). Have you tried using a ball end mill? I guess just need more info. If you want to e-mail me the file i'm fine with that, my e-mail is [email protected]. Good luck.
  12. Dan, What version of mastercam are you running? Judging from your signature it appears your running X2MR2. I just tried to replicate this but i can't. What size of a part? Was it using surfaces, lines, or arcs? Just a little bit more information is needed. The window for Backplot for me is very small. What is your resolution for your computer? I am running at 1280x1024. Try adjusting your screen resolution. I'll check back on this tomorrow.
  13. Workaround is easier: Sorry, i played with it a second longer because I thought my workaround was a little ridiculous, I discovered it works fine if you just double click on the grid for Name, and double click on the grid for level set. Then press the green check, and your work is saved. Have a nice day!
  14. I'm sorry your having the problem. I looked into it and it is a known problem. It will be fixed in a later version. I had it work after playing with it for a while in MR2 though. If you want to try to actually see that it can work, try my workaround.(then you can apply it to what you do later). Workaround: File>New> click level manager> Create level 2> double click on the name field for number 1 (don't make 1 highlighted)> type NAME> Press enter> double click in Level set> type Name> press enter> Green check to get out. I hope you could understand that. If you need more assistance or it wasn't clear e-mail me at [email protected]
